Elizabeth Brown is a California based artist who explores the relationship between personal narrative and visual engagement. Her playful, expressive and colorful paintings reveal the tension between freedom and control, as well as thought and emotion, the physical and ephemeral.
In both figurative and abstract paintings, Elizabeth has multiple vantage points, seeing her world and the world of others, both predator and prey, to compose her dynamic compositions.
Elizabeth lives in Encinitas, CA and her work is in public and private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
